“What struck me most about Elwood Star was the sheer thoughtful provision for a larger group - ample beds, the presence of porta-cots, and even toys tucked away felt like stepping into someone's genuinely welcoming home. The natural light and ambient feel, complemented by a quiet street and proximity to the bay, create a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. It's the kind of place you appreciate for its practicalities and its subtle touches that make a real difference.”
