“Islay House offers a genuinely tranquil escape, evident in the warmth of its hosts, Tarni and Clive, who clearly pour their hearts into this beautifully restored guesthouse. The continental breakfast, featuring freshly baked bread and eggs from their own chickens, sets a delightful tone for the day, complemented by comfortable rooms that marry period charm with updated, spacious bathrooms. Its proximity to the town centre and ample parking are practical advantages, but it's the feeling of being truly looked after that lingers, making me eager to return.”
