Leafield Cottages offers three private cottages: Queen Studio and Two-Bedroom Cottage. Each has air conditioning, a wood-burning fire, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, kettle), a walk-in shower, a flat-screen TV, and a seating/dining area. Some cottages include a balcony or garden view. The cottages are pet-free for a tranquil stay.

There is no onsite restaurant. Instead, breakfast is supplied in the fridge: bacon, eggs, fresh bread, croissants, yoghurt, tomatoes, milk, and condiments. Guests cook themselves using the kitchen stove. Breakfast in the room is also available.

The property has a seasonal outdoor pool with a view, a garden, BBQ facilities, a picnic area, and a terrace. Guests can use the complimentary DVD library and board games. Walking trails through Kinglake National Park start nearby. Birds often visit the garden.

Located in Dixons Creek, the cottages are minutes from wineries like Balgownie Estate, Yering Station, and Ferguson. Yarra Valley Dairy (cheese), Healesville Sanctuary (Australian wildlife), Maroondah Dam, and Sugarloaf Park are close. The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie is a short drive. A car is needed - the property is not walkable to shops.
