Rooms are a mix of apartments and chalet-style rooms. Apartments include a TV, DVD player, spa bath, shower, free toiletries, balcony, and full kitchen. The hotel also offers a drying room, ski locker room, and guest laundry. Some rooms have private balconies with mountain views. The building is a bit old, so some rooms look tired. Heating can be hard to control, making the room too warm at times.
Dining Options
On-site dining is at Kaptans Restaurant, known for Austrian and regional dishes. The restaurant serves dinner and a hot breakfast. Coffee shop downstairs serves good coffee. Herbies bar is open for drinks. Some guests said breakfast had small danishes and weak tea. The nightly dinner is first class, but breakfast could be better.

Facilities include a day spa with massage, a bookable sauna, cold plunge, and spa. There is a games room with board games. The hotel has a ski hire shop on site, a drying room, ski storage, and a ski locker. The Abom six-seater chairlift is 50 meters away. Bourke Street ski run is right next to the hotel.
Location & Transport
The hotel is in the Mount Buller village, 50 meters from the Abom chairlift. Bourke Street ski run is right at the door. The Ski & Snowboard School is 100 meters away. A free shuttle bus stops at the front of the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the village square. Park at the car park, then ride share takes you to the hotel.
Guest Services
Staff range from friendly to rude. The housekeeping manager is kind, but some reception staff are cold. The hotel offers ski hire, ski fitting, and ski storage. Daily cleaning is available, but some guests said their room was not cleaned on time. The hotel has a laundry, ironing service, and luggage storage. No lift, so guests must carry bags up stairs. No help with luggage from staff.
