Spa & Wellness
The property has a spa and wellness centre, including a hot tub, spa facilities, and a spa lounge/relaxation area. The outdoor heated spa is private and great for stargazing. The spa is pre-heated on arrival. Guests enjoy the spa, though the pump stays on during the entire stay, which may cause a slight drone.
Kitchen
The kitchen is self-contained with a kitchenette. There is a coffee house on site. Guests found the kitchen fairly well set up, but noted the lack of chopping knives. The kitchen lights are red and not very bright. The washer-dryer combo can be tricky to use for drying.
Location
The property is 53 km from Essendon Fields Airport. It is close to Dandenong Train Station (33 km) and Chadstone Shopping Mall (35 km). Melbourne Cricket Ground and Royal Botanic Gardens are each about 45 km away. Free parking is available on site.
Services
The property offers free WiFi, laundry service, and board games. There is a garden with BBQ facilities, an outdoor fireplace, and a picnic area. Private check-in/check-out is available. Pets are allowed, and dog towels and poo bags are provided. The owner is friendly and easy to deal with.
“The private gardens and the heated spa create a truly serene atmosphere, a welcome escape with thoughtful touches like complimentary wine and cheese. It feels remarkably self-contained and comfortable, the sort of place one would happily settle into.”
