Seafarers Getaway offers 20 self-contained lodges and units, all refurbished in 2014. Each unit includes a kitchen, living area, private deck, and free Wi-Fi. All lodges face the ocean, with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies providing panoramic views of the Great Ocean Road. Units range from compact studios to two-bedroom top lodges. Every room features a private bathroom, air conditioning, and heating. Some studios include a telescope and chessboard. Guests also have access to on-site BBQ facilities.

There is no onsite restaurant. Guests can cook meals using the communal BBQ or their unit's stovetop. The kitchenettes are equipped with basic utensils, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Apollo Bay's restaurants and cafes are a 3-minute drive away. The Apollo Bay Farmers Market, held weekly, offers fresh local seafood and produce.

The property sits on 8 private hectares with direct beach access. Guests can swim, surf, fish, or snorkel at nearby beaches. Hiking trails wind through Great Otway National Park, 10 minutes away. Scenic plane rides over the Twelve Apostles depart from Apollo Bay. On-site, friendly alpacas roam the paddocks and can be fed. The garden and terrace offer quiet spots to watch the sunset.

Seafarers Getaway is located directly on the Great Ocean Road, a 5-minute drive from Apollo Bay town center. It is 10 minutes from Great Otway National Park and 45 minutes from the Twelve Apostles. Free on-site parking is available. The beach is across the road, with an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Public transport options are limited; a car is recommended for exploring the coast.

Check-in is contactless: keys are left in an envelope at the office stand. There is no daily room cleaning; sheets and towels are changed weekly. Guests must wash dishes before check-out or incur an additional charge. Free Wi-Fi covers all units. Free parking is provided. No business center, concierge, or kids' club is available.
