The living space has a comfortable couch and a double bed. The bathroom features a modern shower with good water pressure. Outside, there is a private garden with a deck, BBQ, and outdoor fireplace. Free on-site private parking is available.

The kitchen is stocked with breakfast supplies: milk, bread, cereals, coffee, tea, homemade jam, and cooking essentials. Guests can cook meals using the kitchenette or use the BBQ and firepit. A short walk (900 m) brings you to the Q Train, a restaurant-on-wheels offering a multi-course dining experience. Nearby, Ket Bakery in Drysdale sells fresh bread, tarts, and danishes.
Leisure
Lake Lorne is across the road, with a walking path around it. Guests can hike and cycle in the surrounding area. The garden attracts native birds (magpies) and rabbits. For more activities, Adventure Park Geelong (8 km) has water slides and go-karts, and Geelong Botanic Gardens (18 km) offer walking trails. The cottage also provides board games and books.
Location
The cottage is 45 km from Avalon Airport. It is a 5-10 minute walk along the lake to the Q Train station. Drysdale village is a short walk further, with shops and cafes. By car, Adventure Park Geelong is 8 km, Geelong Botanic Gardens 18 km, and Queenscliff (ferry to Mornington Peninsula) is a 20-minute drive. The area is quiet with little traffic.

Hosts Felicity and Peter respond quickly via text or booking app. The cottage is private, located in gardens away from the main house. Breakfast provisions, toiletries, and cleaning products are included. Check-in is flexible, and the hosts respect guests' privacy. The property has smoke alarms and is non-smoking throughout.
